EMCOR Subsidiary Recognized for Third Consecutive Year

VERNON, CT - April 8, 2009 – For the third consecutive year, EMCOR Services New England Mechanical (NEMSI) was named one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The annual program to recognize the state's top employers is sponsored by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group.

The Best Places to Work in Connecticut survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the state, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. The program recognizes 25 companies grouped into two categories: small/medium-sized companies (15-199 employees) and large-sized companies (more than 200 employees). With 450 employees, NEMSI was recognized in the large-sized company category.

 

There is a two-part process used to determine the companies awarded the recognition of Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The first part consists of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.
