Rob Krawic, who has over thirty years in facilities services, began his career with New England Mechanical Services, Inc. as a service technician in 1985. In 1987 he was promoted to Field Service Supervisor, and in 1988 to Service Manager. In 1992 he was promoted to Branch Manager. In 2000 Rob was named Vice President and General Manager of NEMSI's New London branch office.
Rob's responsibilities include sales and overall financial management of the New London branch; direct supervision and training of field technicians; engineering, pricing; and obtaining building permits for work as related to the repair and retrofitting of HVAC systems. He is also responsible for maintaining the warm customer relations necessary to supply the best possible services to all customers. From time to time, he still performs the duties of a technician.
Expertise
Since 1982, Rob has been an evening instructor for the Connecticut State Apprenticeship Program, and for eight years served as chairman of the Education Committee of the Connecticut Heating and Cooling Contractors Association. Since 1981 he has taught for the State of Connecticut, and he has also provided instruction for the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) as well as for NEMSI internal training programs.
Rob, who started in this field as an apprentice in March 1973, follows in the footsteps of his father, who had a lifelong HVAC career. Mr. Krawic holds unlimited contractor licenses for Connecticut and Rhode Island.
The Personal Side
Rob Krawic is a Mason, holds black belts in Jujitsu and in Karate, and is an amateur musician.
