Paul Gray is Senior Vice President of NEMSI's Mechanical, Electrical and Automation Groups. He has overall responsibility for all sales, estimating, project management, engineering, fabrication, field operations, and training associated with those groups.

Expertise
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. His career in the mechanical contracting business started in 1971 as a project manager at the Morris A. Fierberg Company. In 1978 he went to work for the Wetherell Corporation. In 1983 he was a participant in the formation of Freedom Mechanical and Electrical, Inc. and served as president of that company until 1989 when it closed after the untimely death of its owner. Paul then took a position as Vice President of Operations at Janazzo Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. where he worked until joining New England Mechanical Services, Inc. in 1995. Paul has well over 34 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry. He holds HVAC S1, Plumbing P1, Sheet Metal SM1, and Fire Protection F1 contractor's licenses from the State of Connecticut.

Paul has served a number of years on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). He was the 1995 President of that association, and also a member of National Board of Directors of ABC. In January 2003 Mr. Gray received CT ABC’s prestigious "Construction Industry Leader" award. He has been active within the Construction Institute of the University of Hartford and has served on the Board of Advisors, and the Board of Directors.
