Lou Faraci

Information Technology Director

Value Delivered
Lou Faraci is Director of the Information Technology Group for New England Mechanical Services, Inc. He is responsible for the strategic vision of NEMSI's infrastructure, as well as its operational maintenance and safety. He is also responsible for NEMSI's database design and maintenance; server maintenance, the safeguarding of NEMSI's data stores, data privacy, and staff management and training.

Lou's first initiative at NEMSI was to implement an IP Wide Area Network (WAN) to connect NEMSI's branch offices to our headquarters in Vernon, Connecticut. He was also responsible for the design, implementation and installation of COINS, a fully integrated accounting/ERP system, specifically designed for the design-build industry.

Lou was responsible for the migration of NEMSI's e-mail platform from Microsoft Exchange and Outlook to Lotus Notes; a collaborative platform uniquely suited to EMCOR's business strategy. Due to Mr. Faraci's efforts, NEMSI is now a regional hub for Domino (Lotus Notes) and COINS, and we support and host sister companies in seven different states with plans for future expansion.
