In 2009, Armand became the Manager of Electrical Services for NEMSI. He is presently responsible for high voltage electrical testing, infrared thermography, breaker and protective relay testing along with generator maintenance and electrical services for the company.
Commercial Electrical Services Expertise
Armand joined New England Mechanical Services (NEMSI) in December 1998 as an electrician for The Hartford account. Shortly after, he was promoted to foreman of a 350,000 square foot facility. In 2000 he was promoted to supervisor of a 650,000 square foot facility, and in 2004, he became responsible for a 1.5 million square foot mission critical facility with 22 direct reports. In 2006, Armand was promoted to Account Manager for NEMSI at The Hartford where he was responsible for the property management of 3.2 million square feet at all twelve (12) of The Hartford's Connecticut facilities. This included a 300,000 square foot mission-critical data center. Armand was also responsible for the UPS (uninterruptible power supplies) and standby generators in The Hartford's Oklahoma City, Charlotte, Santee, California, and Atlanta data centers; and a 100,000 square foot complete building facility in New Hartford, New York where 48 NEMSI employees reported to him.
Armand holds a Connecticut E2 unlimited journeyman's license and is a Registered Certified Thermographer.
The Personal Side
Armand lives in Wethersfield, Connecticut with his wife Donna and their daughter.
